THE PRESIDENTIAL SCAVENGER HUNT

The purpose of a scavenger hunt is to have students collect information on a particular instructional topic, to teach students to use search engines properly through the use of keywords, and to introduce students to the vast array of resources that are available on the web.  Anybody should be able to answer these questions without looking them up on the Web.  The questions are easy but finding the answer using a search engine is the challenge.  Where ever possible, answers should be in the form of graphics not text.  Be sure to keep bookmarks on each location found and when finished save the bookmark file.

Copy the questions below to an Appleworks or Word document.  "Clean up" the document (remove the extra letters and tags that may be copied from the web with the text) to prepare an appropriate place for the answers to this scavenger hunt.  When this is complete, click on one of the search engine icons.  Find the answer to the following questions and place them in the AppleWorks or Word document.   Save the document to your zip or floppy as [yoursectionnumber][yourlastname]shunt. (If you used different Key Words please note them.)
