Collecting Digital Pictures with the digital camera:

  • Locate 2 of the pictures we took in class with the digital camera or take pictures of your own.
  • Resize the pictures to no larger than 3" by 4" and a file size no larger than 100 KB.
  • Save the files as .jpg or .jpeg into your [sec#][lastname]draw folder

  • Scan 2 pictures.

  • Save the files as .jpg or .jpeg into your [sec#][lastname]draw folder

Create an outline with Inspiration that will serve as the basis for your Back-To-School Night Kiosk presentation. Your file must have:

  • Page title in text box
  • These symbols created
    • Main idea identified
    • 5 subtopics with links
    • 2 sub-subtopics under each subtopic
  • These links:
    • Link lines between symbols showing relationships
    • At least 3 lines labeled with links
  • Symbols
    • 3 symbols replaced with graphics from clipart library
    • At least one symbol replaced with animated .fig (found under common 1,2, and other clipart libraries)
  • Save the files as [sec#][lastname]dd into your [sec#][lastname]draw folder
  • Save the file again as a jpg and name it [sec#][lastname]insp.jpg. Be sure the file is saved into your [sec#][lastname]draw folder.

Create a Drag'n'Drop activity or a set of trading cards

  • Drag'n'Drop must have:
    • Activity Title in Text Box
    • These objects created:
      • Container object
      • Container object locked in place
    • At least 5 graphics with a at least one example of each:
      • Object and text grouped together
      • 2 objected grouped trogether
      • Clipart from the library
    • File saved as [sec#][lastname]dd om upir [sec#][lastname]draw folder
  • Trading Cards must include:
    • Margins formatted to .5"
    • Page sectioned off to quadrants using the table tool
    • 2 cards that include:
      • Borders around the front and back of the card
      • Picture side of card with:
        • Graphic fropm clipart or inserted
        • Text box with name of picture
      • Information side of card with:
        • 3 pieces of information
        • Your name and the name of the series of this collection
    • File saved as [sec#][lastname]dd om upir [sec#][lastname]draw folder

Using your Direct Teach Template, design a lesson that incorporates either a Drag'n'Drop Activity or Trading Cards. Be sure to fill out the 6 sections required for this class (Standards and Benchmarks not required).

Your lesson design must include:

  • Margins at .5", invisibles turned on
  • Top section with leader tab lines with two columns using tab stops
  • One line header with name of lesson and date code
  • Footer with page number centered
  • 6 sections with activities described
  • No tabs or spaced used to align text
  • Indent marker used to hang paragraphs
  • No spelling/grammar/typing errors (use spellcheck)
